Also in my experience, recording yourself (especially video) can really simulate the illusion that you're 'being watched' and it activates that same tendency toward self-monitoring that triggers when you're actually performing in front of others (that constant self-evaluation and self-critical voice that is both the source of deep performance anxiety, and can be used to your advantage after some time).
I think it was Denis Azabagic who said that if you're not at least a little nervous then you won't play at your best. And nerves can be a good thing after you have been performing for a while-the adrenaline can really give you a lot of energy and you can play off of it.

The version I played in this recording is a mixture of my own, between the older Sanz Gallego version, the manuscript and some bits of the Bream recording (which is great, IMHO).
